Personal Project (2021)
I modeled a robotic system in Blender and then using computer vision developed an algorithm to identify a failed motion system.

Type A Machines
I redesigned critical sheet metal and machined metal components using DFM and DFA techniques to ensure design concurrency.
I set up Type A’s first product transition to contract manufacturing and continue to oversee technical operations.
I leveraged academics techniques to develop a methodical testing procedure for tuning 3D printing parameters whose results have stood the test of time.
I challenged prevailing 3D printing practices and developed an industry-first software feature that enables unambiguous design communication across all 3D printers
I made the industry-first model-based optimization in 3D printing, paving the way for smarter 3D printing software. The feature has already saved hundreds of hours of print time.
University at Buffalo
I optimized the parameters of a compliant torque wrench by designing a simulation to generate a response surface on which I ran optimization routines that I wrote in MATLAB.
I wrote a mouseless keyboardless CAD interface that uses gesture recognition and machine learning in MATLAB.
My take on how to conduct product design.
